I took up photography as a hobby. I still don’t know what I’m doing aside from the things I can follow as procedure. My subjects suck. I’ve already formed an opinion though: I could spend a premium on a camera that will take the best picture I could envision but I don’t want that. I’ve embraced the manual world, I don’t want a motor or a sensor or anything taken out of my control. Even the “manual” setting will move the lens for you. I like developing my film because it gives me something to look forward to rather than instant gratification. There are too many instances where the world is at our fingertips. Have you considered why our kids these days are impatient stubborn beasts that will give up if the answer is not at arm’s reach?
